Chinese Go Set or Wei Qi Board Game with Bamboo Bowls, Yunzi Go Stones and Folding Portable Game Board
The game of Go, called Weiqi in Chinese, is one the oldest board game in the world. It was thought to be one of the four arts, along with music, painting, and poetry, and became part of the training of the ancient warriors of Japan and China. Today the game is played worldwide. It is a game rich in strategy.
Go is a two-player game which has simple rules that can be learned very quickly but, as with chess and similar board games, complex strategies may be deployed by experienced players.
The Wei Qi stones measure approx. 22mm in diameter, with a thickness of 4mm. These stones are the more traditional, single-convex type i.e. flat on one side, they are made from a glassy type material to a secret recipe.
The set comes with a minimum of 181 Black stones and 180 white stones - A full set
The game does not come with any instructions but these are easily available in English by searching online
